WWE Raw on June 8th was a mixed bag, with some solid matches and a few underwhelming segments. The show opened with a bang, as Oba Femi, the Ruler, made his grand entrance in Paris, France. His promo was strong, and the crowd's energy was palpable, which is a good sign for his push. However, the segment with Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh felt a bit forced, and the crowd's reaction was underwhelming. The King and Queen of the Ring tournaments continued, with Sol Ruca defeating Lyra Valkyria in a predictable but well-executed match. The women's match between Alexa Bliss, Chelsea Green, Liv Morgan, and Becky Lynch was highly choreographed and gave each woman a chance to shine. Seth Rollins' promo about unfinished business with Roman Reigns was a nice touch, but the main event was a bit of a letdown. The men's King of the Ring quarterfinal was a well-paced match, but it lacked the excitement of the women's bout. LA Knight's promo about his issues with The Bloodline was almost a worked shoot, and his match on Friday should be interesting. Overall, the show had its moments, but it felt a bit short on action for a two-and-a-half-hour broadcast. The card was small, and the non-wrestling segments didn't add much to the storylines. In my opinion, WWE needs to focus more on the action and less on the ads and unnecessary segments. The show has potential, but it needs to be more consistent and engaging. Personally, I think the company should push more of the lesser-known talent and give them more opportunities to shine. The show has a long way to go, but with the right adjustments, it could be a lot more entertaining. From my perspective, WWE needs to find a balance between the established stars and the up-and-coming talent. What many people don't realize is that the show's success relies on the balance between the old and the new. If WWE can find that balance, it could be a game-changer for the company.
